Paster Eric Chang Serious Talk About Sexual Sin

Pastor Eric Chang is 26 years old and has been serving CCC as YG Minister for the past 3 years. He is currently enrolled as an extension student of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, taking courses towards a Masters of Divinity degree. Eric loves his youth, even though they get under his skin. He wants to punch some of them (probably at least all the guys) at some point... because he's reminded of his own stupidity in them when he was their age. Eric encourages for himself and others to always be honest and transparent, especially for the confessing of and healing from sins, by using his favorite line: "Assume I know everything and tell me... and when you tell me, assume I know nothing and tell me everything."

Rev. Nick Scarpuzzi Why Forgive?

Rev. Nick Scarpuzzi grew up as a nominal Catholic in an Italian family of six. When he went to church it was always for the wrong reasons. He joined the Navy while a senior in high school seeking to escape and have more fun. He worshipped the god of rock music at the altar of being a live disc jockey. He enjoyed opening his Sunday morning show with songs like “Running with the Devil”. He rejected invitations to receive Christ presented to him by his brother and mother who had come to a saving knowledge of Christ. Seeking to live apart from acknowledging any need for God his selfish dream turned into a nightmare. It was as if God turned Nick over to be abused, and to abuse, as one held captive to Satan’s will. If it were not for God’s convicting and drawing power Nick would most likely not be alive today. Having been granted the new birth and power to overcome habitual sins his walk with Christ began. He, as an infant in Christ, was cared for by spiritual leaders in a caring community in Puerto Rico. Nick, with the support of his pastor and missionary, was directed by the Lord to seek biblical pastoral training. His life took a new turn after he met and married Rosemary (from Singapore) being directed to serve cross-culturally in the Chinese community since 1991. Rosemary and Nick live outside Columbus with their four children Joanna (22), Jonathan (20), Rebekah (17) and Joy (15). As a family they still sin against one another from time to time and need to know why it is important to forgive one another.
